BTS star J-Hope donates 100 million won for children who are victims of violence – Times of India

BTS band member J-hope found the perfect way to mark South Korea‘s Children’s Day, by donating generously to a cause close to his heart. According to reports on news portals, the K-Pop star donated 100 million won (USD 89,000) for children who are victims of violence in Africa.

J-Hope made the huge contribution through a Korean charity he supports. According to the charity organisation, the singer expressed hope that his donation will offer a helping hand to all children in need.

The star, who is known for his charitable works, has reportedly contributed over 700 million won over the past three years. He chooses to give back to society and support causes close to this heart through various charity outreach programmes.

On the work front, J-Hope and his bandmates – V, RM, Jin, Jimin, Jung Kook and SUGA are gearing up to drop their latest summer single ‘Butter’ that is set for release later this month. The song comes almost a year after BTS dropped their global smash-hit ‘Dynamite’ that checked them into music record books and even earned them their first Grammy Award Nomination.
