Rohit Saraf on being called a ‘national crush’: I get a little awkward and embarrassed – Times of India

Rohit Saraf has earned the tag of being referred to as a ‘national crush’ with fangirls crushing over the actor after his performance in OTT releases ‘Mismatched’ and ‘Ludo’. The actor feels flattered with all the female attention he is receiving.

Reacting to being called ‘national crush’ by everyone, Rohit Saraf told Zoom in an interview, “It is very sweet when I hear people say that to me. I also feel it is a big deal when you say national because you are basically speaking of the entire country. Like earlier, it was like haan okay – it is just an internet trend and it will fade off and what not. But then every interview that I give, every journalist I speak with such as yourself when you say that (national crush), I realise that ‘Oh shit! Okay, it is that serious.'” When someone calls him a ‘national crush’ to his face, Rohit says, “I get a little awkward and I get a little embarrassed.”

Despite taking precautions, Rohit Saraf had tested positive for COVID-19. Having recovered, he took to Instagram to informed fans, “In other news, Finally tested negative.”
